01Our services

We provide ECU repair, diagnostics, cloning, programming and related software work for earthmoving and heavy construction equipment. We work on control units, not on complete vehicles or cars.

02Quotes and the diagnostic fee

• A flat diagnostic / test fee of R850 applies to establish the fault. This fee is deducted from the final bill if you approve the repair.
• No-fix-no-fee: if we genuinely cannot fix the unit, you do not pay for the diagnostic.
• Prices shown as "from" are starting points. Your final price is confirmed in a written quote after diagnosis.

03Approval and payment

We only begin chargeable repair work once you approve the quote. Unless we agree otherwise in writing, payment is due before the repaired unit is returned or collected. Prices are in South African Rand.

04Turnaround times

Any turnaround time we give is a good-faith estimate, not a guarantee. Delays can happen due to parts availability, the condition of the unit, or third-party suppliers. We will keep you informed if timing changes.

05Warranty

We back every repair that leaves our bench with a 6-month warranty on the work we carried out.

• The warranty covers the specific repair we performed and the components we replaced.
• It does not cover new or unrelated faults, or damage from water, fire, impact, incorrect installation, power surges, tampering, or continued use of a known-faulty machine.
• Warranty work requires proof of the original job and return of the unit for assessment.

06Your responsibilities

• Give us accurate information about the machine, the fault and any prior work.
• Make sure you are entitled to have the unit worked on and its software modified.
• Understand that diagnostics and repairs may reset stored settings, codes or adaptations on the unit.

07Liability

To the extent allowed by law, our liability for any job is limited to the value of the work we carried out on that unit. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, hire costs or downtime, beyond that amount. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

08Units left with us

Units must be collected within 60 days of us letting you know the work is complete or that no repair will proceed. After reasonable written notice, uncollected units may be sold or disposed of to recover our costs, as permitted by law.

09Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the South African courts.

10Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page at the time of your enquiry is the one that applies.
